Luke wasn't wrong.
May 3 2009, 12:03 AM EDT
I don't think they were anyone's fault at the cluebox. First, Luke arrived first and Jen squeezed him so he waved his elbow as an natural reaction. The second, they two rushed to the box and suddenly Jen got in front right b4 Luke crashed her. At the pitstop is sth that I was really upset, why can girls let a deafguy talk first. Margie wasn't over-reacted, that's what a mom would do.I felt verry sorry for Dallas and Toni in TAR 13 for their failure. I hope Margie and Luke will win this race. They are a very strong team and deserve the wining. Margie and Luke are so admirable when they have overcome a tough life with Luke's deafness. However, that deafness gave them a very big power to understand each other. I still love Margie as a mom and Luke as a strong guy. Wish them best wishes. Do you find this valuable?

I agree that is is a natural reaction to raise your hand when someone is coming at your face. I can understand his wanting to speak out at the pit stop just out of frustration, and I do not think that people should judge any of them for being frustrated. Do you find this valuable? |

Clearly its natural for a mom to be protective, but she goes overboard and only fuels his sense of rightousness. He actually threatened to hit kisha at one point...this from a grown up man? its an embarassment. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I beg to differ. Luke was wrong, or at best, he was being a baby. This is a competition. Luke obviously is used to people giving him a by because he is deaf. No way - that will not help him to develop into the whole, wonderful person that he showed flashes of being. Margie seems so disturbed by the fact that he is deaf that she rewards his bad behavior. He is a grown man, let him fight his own battles. Takng chep shots at the girls, wishing them bad luck, etc. after the incident was over was not the most sportsmanlike behavior for anyone - hearing or deaf. Grow up Luke!!!
