How All-Star cast is decided

I read an article saying that Phil entered 15 teams that he thought were the most liked and/or memorable in the first 10 seasons and then the producers chose 10 of them to race in TAR:AS. He said that they didn't want to choose the strongest teams, they wanted to choose the most recognized teams. Some teams that almost made his list were Lynn & Alex, Peggy & Claire, Linda & Karen, and Jon & Al.

Phil said that the only team on All Stars he didn't select was Eric & Danielle, and that the producers came up with the combining idea.

If there is another All-Stars, and they do the same thing they did for All Stars 1, team like Kynt & Vyxsin and Toni & Dallas are TAR:AS2 definites. You can tell that KV were Phil's fave from TAR12 when he awarded them Most Fashionable team, and Phil got teary-eyed when Toni & Dallas were eliminated from TAR13.

I hope other teams will come back on!!

Marisa and Brooke...they got a hug from Phil's dad....Doees tht count for anyhting? Do you find this valuable?

Marisa & Brooke are definitely not gonna be on All Stars 2. I know many people like them but they werent good racers or very memorable either. Maybe if Phil gets to decide, maybe Dandrew will be chosen again! Do you find this valuable?

I can tell why Dandrew might be chosen, they survived almost the impossible, 2nd to last place for idk how many times and made it to the Final 3 surprisingly. Do you find this valuable?

The next All-Stars would most likely be on Season 20 or 21. The teams would most likely be:
Kynt & Vyxsin
Toni & Dallas
Andrew & Dan ?
And others from seasons 14 - 20. Do you find this valuable?

Well yeah I guess but not all of them make a very very very significant impression. Kinda like Marisa & Brooke, they made an impression on some people but in 5 seasons I'm not gonna remember anything they've done. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah. There are many teams that are noticed during their season, but very few are remembered throughout the other seasons. Do you find this valuable?

no way i think margie/luke will be picked cause everyone remembers them and mel/mike cause there cool and celebrities Do you find this valuable?

No way Nick & Starr is gonna be back.They kinda ruin the whole season 13 by their winning streak. Do you find this valuable?

I think the all-star roster so far is:
1. Kynt & Vyxsin
2. Toni & Dallas
3. Ronald & Christina
4. Kisha & Jen
5. Margie & Luke

In the article, Phil just makes a suggestion list for the teams, not the real teams. Of course, the producers will add more popular teams that may have not been noticed by Phil like Ronald & Christina and Kisha & Jen. Do you find this valuable?
