10/20/09 Droplets: The Wetpaint 500 ranking is no longer shown in the Site droplets. The Wetpaint 500 is on hiatus while we investigate a better ranking system. Search this site: In order to prepare the new new layout changes, we have moved the 'Search this site' box to the top of the screen. Email page/thread: The button to 'email page' has been removed because it was redundant. You can still email a page or thread by clicking 'Share this'. Content Modules: No longer display uncategorized pages or home pages. Dynamic content resizing. Now, when content modules are re-sized on a page, the module will grow smartly so the content in it will look better. This will be important when we launch the wider right rail with the upcoming layout changes. Header ad/promo flip: We swapped the positions of the 728x90 ad unit and the smaller promo unit at the top of the page.

10/8/09 Featured content: Not only can you now feature wiki pages (like photos, videos, and threads), but you can also elevate discovery of said content via a snazzy new flash module. Content without tags: Now that we’re using tags more extensively for related content we pulled together some quick reports on content that doesn’t have tags. Check out the reports on your favorite site. A few nav tweaks: In an effort to eliminate an extra click you now have direct links to your profile and inbox. Wetpaint search is back!: We now have keyword search back on the home page. Search is now geared towards site discovery rather than specific page results.You can still reach page-oriented results by clicking into the tab.

9/16/09 This release included a variety of features, including an improved sign in process, more options for video search, better ways to find related content and a new reporting feature to help keep your site safe from vandalism. Sign in with other providers: Now you can create a new Wetpaint account using your login info from Facebook, Twitter or Windows Live ID, and then use that third-party login info to join and sign in to Wetpaint sites. We also streamlined the sign in/sign up process to make it easier to use. MSN Video search: Now you can search and add MSN videos in addition to YouTube. Related Content module: We've added a new content module to the lineup! It can be found in the Content Module gallery in the EasyEdit toolbar, can be placed on any wiki page, and will read the tags on that page to display content from around the site that is related to the page. Reported threads: Users can now report a thread that has questionable content. Site moderators will receive a message to review the content and can delete it if appropriate.
