Getting around: If you are not a chileno o have familia there, use taxis Tips on tipping: tips are easy...2-3mil peso cuando you go for dinner is bien. Watch out for: iCuidado! with the 'gringo' prices ..if you are white...you will get a different price at the markets The best shopping is found at: a los markets y the malls !! Useful phrases in the local language: 'Oye' - 'hey!' to have someones attention 'cuanto vale?' how much is it? pero si tu hablas espanol..seras bien!! if you speak spanish you will be fine |
