RACE NOTES
Steve & Linda - Amazing Race
LEG 1
RECAP:
-Were on the second flight to Switzerland, landing in Milan where they took a train into Locarno, Switzerland.
-Were second to last in the 7:45am departure time.
- At the campsite, Steve blamed Linda for her lack of speed
-The following morning, they arrived 10th at the roadblock but were passed by Kisha and Jen, thus, they were the last team to perform the Roadblock.
-Steve did the Roadblock.
-Were on the train to the cheese task with 5 other teams.
- Arrived 10th at the cheese route info.
- Steve found an ingenious way to finish the cheese route info fast, even if Linda was slow.
- Were the 6th team to finish the cheese task.
- Arrived at the Pit Stop 6th, but got lost, allowing 3 teams to pass them.
- Finished the Leg in 9th place!
STEEVE /LINDA
LEG 2
RECAP:
Started the Leg in 9th Place.
-Were on the first flight to Germany which departed at 7:10am.
-Arrived 6th at the Roadblock.
-Linda performed the Roadblock but she decided to run down the hill instead because of the strong wind.
-Linda didn't see the arrow and got lost during the run down the hill.
-Asked a local to drive her to the bottom of the hill
-Finished the Roadblock in last place.
-Chose to do "Austrian Folly" as their Detour.
-Finished the Detour in last place.
-Were neck-to-neck with Christie and Jodi on their way to the Pit Stop
-Finished the Leg in last place and were eliminated

THEIR GAME

Strengths
  • Their love for each other

 Weaknesses
  • Linda is not in good shape (can't run fast or do physical tasks)
  • Steve should not yell at Linda that much




Good Situation

  • Did the cheese task quickly, pushing them from 9th place to 6th on Leg 1.
 Bad Situation

  • Couldn't find the pitstop, allowing 3 teams to pass them on Leg 1.
  • Got Beaten by Kisha & Jen to perform the Roadblock on Leg 1.
  • Linda got lost and took the wrong trail down at the Roadblock on Leg 2.
Advice to the Team
  • Steve, don't yell at Linda so much since you know she can't run fast

Not the best team...but I was really angry with Steve..how he humiliated his wife in front of cameras and other teams...such type of guy deserves a kick in ass...I hate this type of men...it is true that she's slow and not strong but on the other side she wants to prove herself she's capable of running the race...

i do not like the way the husb keeps yelling at the wife, however she is not to good at running so hopefully they will do well at the tasks and not get into a situation where they will have to get into a foot race to stay in the race. I would like to see an older couple or a team of women win the race.....
