Speed Bump

In Season 12, the penalty for coming in last on Non-Elimination Legs was changed. Those teams were required to complete an additional task called a "Speed Bump". This task occurs somewhere in the leg after the Non-Elimination Leg. The Speed Bump task is marked with a sign similar to the Yield or U-Turn placed just before a route marker in the leg it occurs on, and has a picture of the team that must complete the task on the sign as the other teams are racing. The team must retrieve both the normal marker clue and the Speed Bump clue, and then must proceed to complete the Speed Bump task first before they can continue racing.
