It was Lawyers/Friends Rob & Brennan who won the million dollars with separated parents Frank & Margarita finishing 2nd and life partners Joe & Bill finishing 3rd. | Records: - First season of The Amazing Race. - Only season to visit Africa on the first Leg - First time a team didn't place first after using the Fast Forward - Nancy & Emily are the only team to receive a 24-hours penalty for not completing the Detour in Leg 9 - One of the only two seasons to not have all final three teams crossing the finish line.
