I'm wondering how others feel about the big penalty given to the two brothers for bartering with their cab driver when they ran out of cash? I didn't know there was a rule against that. Why is that not allowed?
The two sisters begged for free rides, apparently using the presence of the videographer as leverage. That's allowable, according to the rules but WHY? In my opinion, it shows more resourcefulness and concern for the local person to barter than it does to beg.

1 The airline flights are quite often a change for people to catch up. Whats the point in having a 4 hour head start if the next flight you can get is in 5 hours- everyone gets to catch up. Or If you have a four hour head start and have to travel 2 miles to somewhere that opens 6 hours from now.
2 The producers KNOW that there is only 1 flight a day from place 1 to place 2, so having people start the leg at midnight knowing the next flight is at 7am, is silly. 3 You should not have the money to pay someone to come in a taxi with you to find a destination. Isn't the point to find these places yourself ? |

Since the Yield, intersection and U Turn have had mixed reviews, I have thought of one that would go the opposite direction. Not sure what to call it, but it would work like this. The team getting to box first would have the option of a team behind them getting a pass on the next task(roadblock or detour). By doing this, the team if they get to the Pitstop before the last team, they would receive a 30 min head start towards the next leg.
I believe this could be a benefit to the team using it and some excitement to trailing teams, and make alliances more beneficial.

Just pop into my mind that, what if those 'ELIMINATED TEAMS' will have the chance to join the race temporarily for one leg or two.. Instead that they will stay in a villa which becomes and 'open big brother house out there'.. they gonna team up with the racing teams for the Intersection and some how gonna enjoy the race for a while. Here's the consolation for them that if they arrive together with the racing they can also have the leg price or much lower than that.. Hope production will take my point.. (If the eliminated teams will wait for that intersection racing teams can draw or choose who ever they want)

There shouldn't be anymore treading behind a Taxi's Cab while s/he take you to your desination. There seemed to not be enough Taxi's for everyone to travel behind of. Also, there should be a 30 minute penalty for couples who let another couple take cuts in line in front of another couple who is already in line. Also, there should be fair share of eating creepy crawally things and sort between the couples.

Was just watching through the videos page and the Rob and Amber video shows them asking a man in the MIA airport to purchase a guide of ecuador for them. Rob says something about "We're not allowed to ask you for money, but can you buy this book for us?" Is that a new rule where teams can't beg for money anymore? Are they allowed to accept money from other teams if they lose it all?

I'm confused about a missed clue in the last leg of the race in the episode on Mar 4th.
The Barbies missed the clue box & had to go back to get it before they could be checked in at the checkpoint. But wasn't there another team who also missed the clue? I think it was Joe & Bill, but I'm not sure. They met up with Charla & Mirna, who commented that they missed the clue & they were lucky to have met up with them. When the Barbies found the clue box there were still a couple of clues left in it. The only ones to have not reached the detour was Kentucky. Even when Kentucky picked up their clue there was still one left in the box. When did the other team who missed the clue go back to get it?

I think that Charla and Mirna along with Eric and Danielle should have been pnalized 20-30 minutes for traveling in taxis and not by foot while in Malaysia.

There have been issues roaming around the Amazing Race Addicts of Cagayan de Oro, Philippines since TAR9. What penalty is fair and just? (Specifically those Teams who are not eliminated in every Pit Stops) Is it that the teams will receive no money for the next leg of the race (old rules), or the newly established rule that requires the Team to check in the Pit Stop first to avoid penalized with 30minutes?

is their always a couple of extra clues in the cluebox? lets say sum1 not in the amazing race just takes 1. then there would be 1 short. or if another team took 2 e.g. freddy and kendra then it wouldn't be fair to 1 team. how does a team get a clue or is their extra. some teams determine they are in last because there is only 1 clue.

i thought that each team was only aloud to use one fast foward during each race. this was oswald and dann;ys 2nd fast foward. and howcomne there is very few FF's in the race than in the first couple of seasons of the TAR.
