- sail in a dhow up the Nile
- work on an archeological dig in Greece
- see the polar bears in Churchill, Manitoba
- Go to Grise Fiord, Nunavut
- Go for a flight in a piper supercub
- learn to kayak and kayak around BC waters
- Drive Route 66
- Drive down to New Orleans along the Natchez Trace
- Take a caravan (horse pulled one, not a motorized one) around the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland
- Hike around Cornwall
- Participate in Awa-Odori, in Tokushima, Japan (August)
- See the sun rise at Machu Pichu
