Roadblock ideas: Pick out a 20-pound whole salmon at Pike Place Fish and throw it to a waiting fishmonger. Or better yet, have a fishmonger throw it to you! Navigate the Center of the Universe: Start at the Lenin Statue in the Fremont neighborhood, and then find the troll under the bridge. Kayak through the Montlake cutl: take a double kayak from Lake Union, through the narrow manmade canal that opens to Lake Washington. During the boating "rush hour" (lots of waves!)
Pit Stop Ideas: The Statue of Liberty on Alki Beach, the landing point for the first white settlers to Seattle.

Detours (Places to See): hometown template - Amazing Race All-Stars Y Mount--- Huge Y created out of cement on the mountain-- seen for miles around. you have to Hike up to-- takes 30-45 minutes. Great place to pick up a clue!
Go down into Provo-- (1) "Carry It" carry loads of books and alphabetize a shelf at BYU library-- one of the largest collections in the world. (2) "Push it" --take a fully loaded traditional pioneer handcart and push it a 1/2 mile-- while dressed as pioneers. :)
Roadblock ideas: 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Ice Hockey rink is at base of Y mountain. Lots of possibilities.
Pit Stop Ideas: This Is the Place Monument in Salt Lake. First stop for the Pioneers when they settled the valley. Terrific view with monument-- and it would be a race uphill.

After each team completed the Roadblock, they must run a few blocks from Systron Way (Walters Way) and San Miguel Road to the finish line at my house: 1211 Pine Creek Way #I in Concord, California is the final pit stop (Leg 11) of the team Acknowledge edition Amazing Race. The team that finishes 1st wins $1 million. This was Amazing Race season 2 and season 11 final destination!

Detours (Places to See): hometown template - Amazing Race All-Stars The Titanic Exhibition and the Body Exhibition at the Tropicana, the lion habitat at MGM Grand, the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, the jousting show at the Excalibur, the canal rides at the Venetian, the Eiffel Tower at the Paris, the volcano at the Mirage, the foutains at the Bellagio, the rides atop the Stratosphere, the Fremont Street Experience downtown in old Las Vegas, the roller coaster at New York, New York, the M&M store, the zero to blur roller coaster at Sahara, the NASCAR Cafe at Sahara, the Liberace Museum, Red Rock Canyon, Mt. Charleston, the Springs Preserve, Hoover Dam
Roadblock ideas: Have them earn a certain amount of money or double their money at a slot machine or a table game, have them take their picture on a roller coaster ride and the clue will be in their picture when it is developed, have an oral clue injected into the music with the fountains at the Bellagio, have a written or pictoral clue injected into the Fremont Street Experience. They only perform at 9, 10, 11 and midnight so this would give teams a chance to catch up. Have teams participate in the jousting show at the Excalibur. Again, there are only 2 performances each night so people could catch up. Have teams ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower and scan the horizon for a clue or at the top of the Stratosphere and look for a clue over the city
Pit Stop Ideas: At the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign; at the bottom of Hoover Dam (tourists did this before 9-11 and I am sure CBS could work it out with the authorities) It is an awesome view from down there looking up.
Clues: Hoover Dam, Eiffel Tower, Canal ride, in developed roller coaster ride pictures, and at the table games.

Detours (Places to See): hometown template - Amazing Race All-StarsDiamond Peck, even though it doesn't get much snow, is a good place to see. Unfortunately, the Ponderosa Ranch closed, so you can't see that.
Roadblock ideas: Have them try to find a certain house on Lakeshore Drive or something like that.

Pit Stop Ideas: Lone Eagle LodgeThe Lone Eagle Lodge on Lakeshore, or the Lookout off the Mt. Rose Hwy. Live included two pictures of the lookout, where it's located and the view is the pit stop of the Amazing Race!

Detours (Places to see):hometown template - Amazing Race All-Stars In Amazing Race season 12, this was the final destination! In this detour, teams had to decide whether to choose between Cut the Cod and Grab the Crab. In Cut the Cod, Teams had to cut through several 50-pound Ling Cod and search for a miniature clue hidden in one of the fish. In Grab the Crab, Teams had to jump into the hold of a boat swarming with over 500 live crabs. Then, they had to search through the nipping crustaceans for a crab marked with Race colors.
Roadblock ideas: In it, one team member had to face a field of objects they encountered along the race course. Each Team was given fifteen recognizable items from different legs of the race. With stress and exhaustion at an all-time high, they had to place on a stage ten specific items that matched two different requirements. First, there could only be one item from each of the ten legs of the race. Second, only three items could be animals or animal by-products, one had to be a U-turn, two had to be items either at or brought to the Pit Stop, two had to be items of transportation with wheels, one of which was used at a Detour, and one had to be an item of transportation resembling the shape of a stick. While there were several ways to fulfill either of the requirements, only one correct group of ten items fulfilled both to get the next clue.

Clues: 6th Avenue Outfitters, Ship Creek Boat Launch, 2-Mile River, and the Cook's eye view of the Sleeping Lady!
