Leg #10: From Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Hong Kong, China
Episode Title: We're Trying To Make Love, Not War - by Mirna
Air date: April 15, 2007  Episode Recap: High-speed car crashes, knocked-down doors, and kung fu fighting were on the menu as Teams made their way to beautiful Hong Kong. In the airport, tempers flared once again between Mirna and the beauty queens, but both Teams stayed ahead of Eric & Danielle, who are now "marked for elimination." |
 Detour:Kung Fu Fighting: In Kung Fu Fighting, Teams had to travel five miles to Tonkin Street and find a nearby building. Once there, they had to climb up an 11-story bamboo scaffold while avoiding an ongoing battle  between stunt kung fu experts to reach the top and retrieve their next clue. Dustin & Kandice, Charla & Mirna and Eric & Danielle opted to work around the street fight on this leg. Lost in Translation: In Lost in Translation, Teams needed to make their way four miles to Kowloon City and find Nga Tsin Wai Road. Once there, they had to search among hundreds of similar-looking Chinese signs for the specific sign shown in a photo in their clue. When they matched the photo with the correct store sign, the owner would hand them their next clue. No Team chose this option. |
 Roadblock:In this Roadblock, one teammate had to kick down doors in a building until they found the room with their next clue. Kandice, Charla and Eric kicked it for their Teams in this Roadblock. |
| Best use of strategy: Oswald & Danny. They directly broke into the offices of both airlines outside the operating hours of ticket counters. They had their names on the top of every single standby list despite they left the pitstart last and secured the first flight to Hong Kong which was crucial to their victory in this leg. Helpers: Oswald and Danny Schemers: Charla and Mirna (butting in line at the ticket counter) Biggest comeback: Oswald and Danny Team to watch next week: Dustin and Kandice (will they be knocked out of the race in 4th again now that every other team hates them?), Eric & Danielle (can the underdogs overcome being marked for elimination?) |
Mini-Scorecard Fast-forward: In the second of only two Fast Forwards on the race, Teams had to travel five miles to a film set where a high-speed stunt was being filmed for an action movie. When they arrived, they had to get in a car with a professional stunt driver and participate in an action-packed stunt sequence. Oswald & Danny took the Fast Forward on this leg. Charla & Mirna DID NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! The clue specifically said to take the Star Ferry to the Hong Kong Island, but they took a cab thru the tunnel. They DID NOT get to HK Island using the prescribed method and should have been made to go back and redo it.

I really don't know wht Charla and Mirna are still on. When they wented to Hong Kong they kinda cheated (with the whole flight and whatever)... They should be forced to leave because everything bad they have done, (ferry, flight etc...)

You must be a real credit to your family and friends. If you need to use the yields because you are insecure about your abilities, then you should not lie about it on national TV. You insult the listeners that heard you ask Danny and Oswald(who got what they deserved) to yield Eric and Danielle. You not only asked them to do it, but you showed them how to do it. You must be a real credit to your children when you encourage them to lie in order to get what they need in this world. What a sad day for justice.
