Title: "Beauty is Sometimes Skin Deep" - by CharlaAir Date: Feb. 25, 2007 |
 Episode Recap:While an early plane delay set Rob & Amber behind, the pair continued to set the pace in Chile as they collected another first place finish. On the brink of elimination, sparks flew between Charla & Mirna and beauty queens Dustin & Kandice over a taxi, but in the end, a missed speed limit sign caused Kevin and his ailing partner, Drew to step on the mat in last place.  Detour: By Hand: In By Hand, Teams had to choose a two-ton tire and, by properly aligning the bolts and washers, finish securing it to a dump truck. Oswald & Danny, Teri & Ian, Eric & Danielle, Dustin & Kandice, Uchenna & Joyce, Charla & Mirna, David & Mary and Kevin & Drew took this Detour in hand and successfully continued the Race. By Machine: In By Machine, each Team member had to take a turn driving a huge front loader to transfer enough gravel to cover a marked yellow line on a stick. Rob & Amber and Joe & Bill drove through this Detour with ease. |
 Roadblock: In this Roadblock, one Team member had to enter the ground floor boardroom and search the boardroom for letters of the alphabet that were on display. Teams needed to figure out that the majority of the letters when unscrambled would spell out one of the ten destinations inscribed on the plaques hanging on the wall. When they think they solved the puzzle, they had to show their answer to the security guard who would hand them their next clue if they were correct. Joyce, Eric, Dustin, Bill, Kevin, Ian, Mary, Charla, Amber and Oswald performed the Roadblock. |

Amazing Race producers, this message is for you. We don't watch this show because of self-indulgent and self-centered morons like Boston Rob. I have watched every season of TAR and this is the one I haven't because of that "@*&" Rob. I have been a loyal fan even when he and his self-serving wife were on the show the first time and would tell all my friends and students to watch this show because you get to see so much of the world. Now if someone mentions the show to me I tell them that it used to be about seeing everyday people doing something amazing not now it is just Reality TV personalities trying to make a buck.

I enjoy watching the amazing race, but i think rob and amber are too much, first it was surivor then amazing race then there weeding and now it the amazing race again give us a brake from them please>>>> I think there were some better all stars then these two.
