Santiago is very big, we usually made day trips(lived 8 hours away).
Must sees:
Santiago Zoo
Fantasi Landia (amusment park)

Soccer games
Discotheque (if you like to dance)

I recommend La Director for a hotel located on Vitacura..it is in a good neighbourhood and has good prices.
