  • Leg 1: Rotor Head - locate 1 of 3 buildings in a Sao Paulo city guide then travel by helicopter to that building and find a clue hidden inside
  • Leg 2: Press It - press sugar cane and distill its juice to make 500 mL of ethanol to fuel their car
  • Leg 3: Scrub - clean a Russian trolley bus
  • Leg 3: Break It - break stunt bottles on each others' heads to find a message printed on the back of the label
  • Leg 4: Laundry - search over 2400 articles of clothing to find 1 of 16 with a red and yellow tag
  • Leg 5: Big Fish - each team member must carry a 17 kg swordfish 1/3 of a mile and deliver them to a specific market vendor

-Were 3rd on the United flight, scheduled to arrive second in Sao Paulo but landed first after the American flight was delayed.
-Arrived 5th at the rooftop of the Hotel Unique.
-Arrived 4th at the Detour cluebox.
-Chose the "Rotor Head" Detour.
-Arrived at the "Rotor Head" Detour in 1st place and chose the second closest of three buildings to search for their next clue.
-Finished the Detour in 3rd place.
-Arrived 3rd in Santa Cecilia where they had to find a specific warehouse, witness a traditional ceremony and light a candle to receive their next clue.
-Arrived 3rd at the stadium but entered through the wrong entrance.
