On the final Leg (Leg 12) of The Amazing Race - Battle of the Ultimate Nightmare Teams, 3 teams of 2 set off from Canberra, Australia and flew to the coastal island of Guam. From there, teams took a final transit to their final destination city - Cody, Wyoming, USA. The 3 remaining teams took the remaining time to look back at their journey and reflect on what they've done. After 12 Legs, it was Jonathan/Victoria who took home the cash prize of $1,000,000 with Marsha/Lance and Tara/Wil finishing in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Leg 1: Los Angeles, California, USA ----> Lima, Peru (I'm scared of all the wild goats! 1 - Leg 1 is the introduction to the twist - Life and Death. 2 - Ray/Deana originally placed 3rd, but were eliminated due to the effect of Life & Death, the poll they lost to the Linz Family. 3 - Peter/Sarah orginally placed 8th, but were pushed to last due to the effect of Life & Death, the poll they lost to Ari/Staella. 4 - Leg 6 sees 3 teams battling for safety instead of 2. 5 - Since Lake/Michelle and Tara/Wil won the Life & Death poll, they were guarenteed immunity on Leg 7. 6 - There was no Life & Death on Leg 9. |
