From New York, USA to Johannesburg, South Africa to Songwe Village, Zambia
 Episode Recap: The eleven teams start off in Central Park located in New York City, New York and they then have to travel to John F. Kennedy airport and get on a flight to Johannesburg, South Africa by either American Airlines, Swiss Air or South African Air. The 5 leading teams took the American Airlines fight, while the next two teams board the second flight and the bottom 4 teams took the third flight. After arriving in South Africa, they have to travel by taxi to another airport and take a charter flight the following morning to Livingstone, Zambia. Once they arrive in Zambia they have to travel by car to Victoria Falls (Knifes Edge) and they have the choice of driving themselves or asking a driver to drive for them. When teams find the next clue located their they discovered the first fast forward in the race where teams where required to hike down the steep hill towards the 'Boiling Point' and once they reach this they will learn the location of the pit stop, it was Rob & Brennan that found the fast forward first and then went directly to Songwe Village the pit stop for the first leg of the race. While Rob & Brennan went towards the pit stop the remaining teams had to travel towards Batoka Gorge where they discovered the detour where teams had the choice of either Air or Land. All teams chose Air excluding Rob & Brennan who had taken the fast forward. After teams completed the detour they learnt they must make their way to the pit stop, Songwe Village. Rob & Brennan then checked into the pit stop in 1st place and after all the other teams checked in Matt & Ana where the last to arrive and learnt they where where eliminated from The Amazing Race. |
 Detour: Air: In Air teams had to take a zipline and then do a 54m gorge swing. Land: In Land teams had to take a long hike down the mountains. |
 Roadblock: In this Unaired Roadblock one team member was required to cook an ostrich egg. |
 Fast Forward:In this Fast Forward the team that went for it had to hike down a steep slope to Boiling Pot. |
