Last night's episode began with a simple taxi ride to the airport where the show slowly died for twenty minutes of teams booking flights and checking their Email at an Internet cafe. Looks to me like the producers have run out of exciting adventure ideas and great contestants. Seems that they are content to let AR slowly grind to a halt while they rake in the big profits which come with easy physical contests (no big liability insurance premiums) and stupid bickering which is apparently very gratifying to viewers.
The first few seasons were great fun, very adventuresome with some real live-wire contestants. As the bickering has grown and the adventures diminished, the show has lost it's best qualities and now seems ready to expire.
Adios, it was fun while it lasted but I've stayed too long, hoping it would regain it's initial momentum. Guess not.
